"Um" and "Yep"

Cleo's 2 favorite words right are um and yep.

"Cleo, where are your shoes?"

"Ummm..."

"Cleo, are you ready to go to the store?"

"Ummm..."

"Cleo, what color is this shirt?"

"Ummm..."

Alternatively...

"Cleo, do you want to eat lunch now?"

"Yep"

"Cleo, are you ready to take a ride in the car?"

"Yep"

"Cleo, do you want to watch Elmo?"

"Yep"

It used to be "yeah" so I guess we're moving along to yes.

Playing with Trixie while waiting for Daddy to get ready.

Playing with Daddy while waiting for the check.

Codman Farm 5/29/10

Codman Farm is a volunteer run farm in Lincoln, MA. It's pretty cool. Lots of animals.

Look baby piggies!

Stinky!

Very stinky!

Animals are neato and all, but lost their appeal when we noticed the electric fence sign. Then she saw the mini tractor in the barn!

Inspecting...

Still inspecting...

Kicking the tires...

This mini tractor is decidedly sturdy. Time to climb on! If only...I was...a little taller...

Mommy you better put me on that tractor right now! Kick it into gear before those other kids try to steal ma tractor!

Sweet! She handles like a dream!

I'm never ever getting off this tractor.

Then there was a Level 10 Nuclear Cleo Meltdown when it was time to pry her off that tractor and go home.

But then later on we had dinner out with Annabelle!

Landscaping - with Cleo 5/1/10

Along one fence line we have zero privacy from the second and third floors of the neighbors we hate. Er, I mean, dislike a bit. Jeff found these awesome trees called Thujas that supposedly grow very quickly and provide a nice privacy screen. In a few years, of course.

So on his birthday we purchased these lovelies:

And a mountain of this:

That is a pile of mulch in our driveway, just in case you didn't know what that was.

This is the before. Sorta. There were tons of weeds and random junk but we got that stuff out fairly quickly. Once it was cleared out it was time to start digging holes for trees.

Uh oh. Someone is done with their snack and wants to help.

I'm heeeerrrre! To....help!

Look Daddy. I am totally helping you dig this awesome hole! Lemme just...you know...get...in here...

Ooooh! This hole is so cool and roomy...

Look Ma! I'm helping!!

I think I'll stay a while. Sit back. Have a milk.

OOooh I'm takin' off my shoes. It's comfy in here.

Landscaping is awesome. A round of applause for landscaping everyone!

Helping. The best. *giggle*

The after:

Yeah, they've got a bit of growing to do.

More Mother's Day shenanigans

Brunchy brunch brunch

Annabelle!

A little post-brunch play time

How many shots does it take to get a decent Mother's Day picture?

It's real sunny over here. Let's move to the shade.

APPARENTLY MORE THAN FIVE. maybe next year...

Easter Morning 2010

Tell me parents, is this a situation where I am going to get presents?

Ok. I'm in. I think.

Pressies! YAY!

This egg guy is kinda fun. Boogers.

.

This takes intense concentration.

Then we went to eat a fancy brunch and shopped.
