Now posting on Tumblr

Seeing as I've failed epically on this 2011 posting everyday thing...I have decided to post pictures directly from my phone to tumblr. I take pictures everyday of the things we are doing but folks on Facebook don't want to see pictures of C everyday.

With a new baby coming in October as well, this Baby Beswick thing is going to continue...

Week 1

I totally forgot to do this yesterday. Hahahaha. I barely left the house yesterday and somehow I still managed to forget. Oh well.

Here we go:

Jan 1
I didn't know I was going to do this picture a day thing and hadn't taken any pictures of Cleo on this day so here is one from the day before...she is wearing her new headband we scored at Old Navy on sale for $1.50! Woo hoo! We love a bargain.

Jan 2
Having breakfast with Daddy. He made her oatmeal which she now loves.

Jan 3
Watching and discussing one of her favorite films, Princess and the Frog. She's a real movie connoisseur.

Jan 4
I guess I forgot to take pictures this day so here is one from Christmas Eve of Cleo making Christmas cookies with Grammy and PopPop.

Jan 5
I don't remember what she was telling me about but it must have been serious. This picture was taken with the fun Hipstamatic App which is why it looks so super cool (or a little weird, depending on your preferences).

Jan 6
We were in the car on our way somewhere talking about airplanes and she was pointing at one in the sky.

Then she got mad I was taking her picture and gave me this face.

Jan 7
This was the day she figured out she could pull all the cushions off the sofas and make a big pillow pile on the floor to jump on. I'm surprised it took her this long. She kept saying "This heaby!"

Jan 8
This is actually laughing in delight and she jumps on the sofa. Although it looks like a 2-year-old screaming tantrum.

Jan 9
I took this picture of her in the mirror while Jeff and I were lying in bed and she was sitting at the foot of our bed on the floor reading (please don't notice the fact that I haven't fixed/hemmed our bedroom curtains yet...they are a work in progress).

A Bold Plan for 2011

Since I've neglected this blog for the last 6 months (pretty much since we decided we might move to Chicago and then actually did it) my plan for 2011 is to take a picture of Cleo everyday and then post them once a week with a little description of what she is doing. I'll start on Sunday!

cutest kid on the internet

"Um" and "Yep"

Cleo's 2 favorite words right are um and yep.

"Cleo, where are your shoes?"

"Ummm..."

"Cleo, are you ready to go to the store?"

"Ummm..."

"Cleo, what color is this shirt?"

"Ummm..."

Alternatively...

"Cleo, do you want to eat lunch now?"

"Yep"

"Cleo, are you ready to take a ride in the car?"

"Yep"

"Cleo, do you want to watch Elmo?"

"Yep"

It used to be "yeah" so I guess we're moving along to yes.

Dinner tonight

Playing with Trixie while waiting for Daddy to get ready.

Playing with Daddy while waiting for the check.

Codman Farm 5/29/10

Codman Farm is a volunteer run farm in Lincoln, MA. It's pretty cool. Lots of animals.

Look baby piggies!

Stinky!

Very stinky!

Animals are neato and all, but lost their appeal when we noticed the electric fence sign. Then she saw the mini tractor in the barn!

Inspecting...

Still inspecting...

Kicking the tires...

This mini tractor is decidedly sturdy. Time to climb on! If only...I was...a little taller...

Mommy you better put me on that tractor right now! Kick it into gear before those other kids try to steal ma tractor!

Sweet! She handles like a dream!

I'm never ever getting off this tractor.

Then there was a Level 10 Nuclear Cleo Meltdown when it was time to pry her off that tractor and go home.

But then later on we had dinner out with Annabelle!

Landscaping - with Cleo 5/1/10

Along one fence line we have zero privacy from the second and third floors of the neighbors we hate. Er, I mean, dislike a bit. Jeff found these awesome trees called Thujas that supposedly grow very quickly and provide a nice privacy screen. In a few years, of course.

So on his birthday we purchased these lovelies:

And a mountain of this:

That is a pile of mulch in our driveway, just in case you didn't know what that was.

This is the before. Sorta. There were tons of weeds and random junk but we got that stuff out fairly quickly. Once it was cleared out it was time to start digging holes for trees.

Uh oh. Someone is done with their snack and wants to help.

I'm heeeerrrre! To....help!

Look Daddy. I am totally helping you dig this awesome hole! Lemme just...you know...get...in here...

Ooooh! This hole is so cool and roomy...

Look Ma! I'm helping!!

I think I'll stay a while. Sit back. Have a milk.

OOooh I'm takin' off my shoes. It's comfy in here.

Landscaping is awesome. A round of applause for landscaping everyone!

Helping. The best. *giggle*

The after:

Yeah, they've got a bit of growing to do.
